Online DnD Index

First Post
I can't remember where I found it or where I heard of it but I'm pretty sure it was somewhere here on ENWorld.

There was an online index of all the 3.0 and higher WotC books. It was like somebody took the index of every book and put it into a database online. You could search for a weapon special property for example and you would get back the books that property was in and the page number is was on.

I have tried several Google searches for it as well but have come up empty handed.

Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about.

I recently lost all my Bookmarks and am trying to recreate them. Damn windows profile issues.

Thanx

It sounds like you're talking about the D&D Rule tracker from Emerald Night. I don't know if it still exists (or for that matter if it's still updated) but you could google for that, I tried but it seems the Emerald Night site is down/(re)moved so I've no idea where you could find it at the moment? Otherwise I've no idea...

http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/ is a pretty well stocked database of all the D&D rules, both 3e and 3.5. It also includes non-D&D d20 feats from Star Wars etc. It has been recently updated, so that CWar, CDiv, EBCS and recent Dragon mags are all included (but not CArc, Frostburn, Libris Mortis or Races of Stone). I guess you'd have to wait for that, since the updates happen only every few months.

My only gripe is that it's all in PDF. If you know some free software to convert text PDFs into DOC, RTF or (best idea) LaTeX, let me know.

As for D&D Rule Tracker, I have a copy at my disk (with some additions, mainly in the feats department) and would post it in this thread but for my upstream connection being virtually inexistent (14 kpbs). You'd have to wait until I'm at my girlfriend's place, which won't happen until next week.

That would be awesome. I'm not entirely sure what it was I was using but now that I use a laptop at the gaming table I would find this kind of index indespensable.

Thanks
