Online Social Networking

I'm currently working out a business idea. While I think that I've got the fundamentals worked out, I'm still trying to get a broader view of the field.

For this reason I'm trying to find articles and essays about online social networking (whether via particular sites - Facebook, MySpace, LiveJournal, etc. - or site-independent trends) which are particularly insightful and illuminating.

Does anyone know of any good articles of this type?

The Facebook guy was on the cover of Newsweek this week, but I'm not sure I'd call the story particularly insightful.

Has either of you checked with your local public library to see if you can do an online database search? I'd recommend you try Acadamic Search Premiere or Business Source Complete (both Ebsco brand databases) to find articles. Your business reference librarian may also be able to suggest other sources...
