I'm prepared to ride, ride a druid, or ride in a cart, or walk. I don't think Carradoc would buy a horse for himself. He'd just lose it.

With regards to the rest of us, maybe we can speak with some of the "other" retainers at the Spire. Maybe the servants would be open about what's going on. Otherwise, maybe just wait for whatever gathering is happening.
I'll admit I feel sidelined right now, and pretty uninspired.
Carradoc was built for a social situation like this (+7 persuasion, +7 deception; reinforced with Inspiring leader), and being cast as a retainer chafes.
I know it wasn't deliberate, and I know i could work around it, but frankly I don't want to work agains another player's plans. Fun and light-hearted and all. So I am sitting quietly.

Things feel a little dull to me too. I'm hoping for some more specifics in the in-character thread maybe to direct things? I also don't mind just skipping to the feast? Basically... more inputs would be good.

Is there a place where they train in combat? Tolan could head there and strike up a conversation.
Hehe, I've been quiet, but Maighan has little skill at deception or anything like that. I figured she might give the game away if she attracted attention. It seems like Carradoc could get some good stuff by circulating among the servants, using those great social bonuses of his though! 
I figured Maighan would just be quietly observing...doing Insight and Perception; the things she's good at in situations like these.
