Sorry about that. At some point I am going to move the game forward (usually 24 hours after the round started) even in spite of debate. I'm trying to maintain a certain amount of pacing (Monday to Thursdays) while working within my own time constraints.

lol, yeah, sorry, that sounded more bitter than I felt. It's just you and I seem to get online to post at similar times lately, so it feels like there's a bit of a race between us sometimes. :)

Hey Creamsteak,

Thaliss is casting frostbite for the first time, and I have a question. The spell says that on a failed save, the target has disadvantage on the next weapon attack roll, but these guys are unarmed. Does it matter? I'm assuming that it doesn't (unarmed weapons are weapons, no?)...
Here is the full cantrip writeup: [sblock=frostbite]
Evocation cantrip
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous
You cause numbing frost to form on one creature that
you can see within range. The target must make a
Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target
takes 1d6 cold damage, and it has disadvantage on
the next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of
its next turn.
The spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach
5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
[/sblock]
Thanks and cheers,

SG

As I remember, this was a heavy topic of discussion during one of the sage-columns.
Unarmed strikes are melee weapon attacks but not melee-weapon attacks or something similar.

Wow, that's a subtle difference!
In this case, I figured that it was a case of rules as intended since the rules as written is a bit unclear.
Cheers,

SG
