We're lucky she's not a spellcaster. I wouldn't be at all shocked to see a 4th level spell or two popping if she were.

She only did 18 damage to you (actually less, since Dent ended up canceling one of the attacks). It was the other monk flipping in who crit you twice for 14 damage that made it super bad. 32 damage in one round isn't easy to absorb at this level.

She did 27 originally. Dent cancelled one of the attacks reducing it to 18. Either way, this was followed by a regular monk rolling two natural 20s in a row for 16 damage total.

Yeah, Dent saved me some pain...just not enough. I thought I was reasonably burly, but I ain't no barbarian to be halving damage willy-nilly.

The irony of course being that I could have done, if I'd wildshaped first...starting to think that needs to be something I just do all the time instead of waiting to see if it's tactically advantageous.

Anyway, congrats on the win! Any win, by however thin a thread, is a thing to be celebrated!

Do we rest? How's everyone doing? Aridha (who I guess we are carrying around unless we're going to blow that healing potion on her) is in no shape to fight right now. But if she wakes up, she could turn into a bear or dire wolf and be pretty much ready to go.

South or East? Seems like we should clear this wing first.
