He needs his meat shields to be effective though, so I'll defer the decisions to said meat shields!

Dent is at less than half hit points with no remaining resources. My vote goes to long rest.

Alright, so the effective question is:

Do we give Arihda a healing potion?

Arguments Against: It's treasure! One of the front lines may need it later, but will probably never weigh the benefit of spending an action to use it higher than doing something more hitty.

Arguments For: If we don't, we're either chilling out for 1d4 hours for her to regain a HP before taking another hour short rest for her to spend HD to heal or we're lugging her body around with us, which could subject her to going into a dying state again.

Yeah, I think we should use it in this kind of situation. I'm gonna go ahead an use the one Tolan's carrying.

Alternately, we take a long rest, which I think heals her back up, as CB is suggesting.

I mean, we're in a room that was just locked and have a key for it...

It does, but we have to get somewhere safe to do that, I don't think a one-exit room inside the monastery counts [101 Ways to Get Trapped by Iman Adventurer]. Either way, after this place, I think it is time to go ahead back to a town and see if we can't spend some of our ill-gotten gains on healing potions.

I'll take some Studded Leather armor. Curses starting with no extra starter money...

Just realized Dent needs a long rest worse than I thought. He's at 10/44 hp, with no healing at all left. If the group elects to press on, he's gonna need at least a short rest and then it'll be another day after that before all his HD are restored (assuming no more major battles, which is maybe an erroneous assumption). If Dent is the only one who needs a long rest, it's ok with me if the group presses on.

I'm all for Tolan's administering the healing potion to Aridha, and it looks like he did just that in the IC.

Also, I'm down to return to town sooner rather than later. Dent doesn't particularly have business in town, but if others do that's fine.
