My alternative was human spellthief :)
I’m easy. If you want to play the rogue, I’ll play something else. I see Steve is waffling between a wizard and a Druid. I can always take the opposite of what he chooses. Or a bard, actually. Just let me know.
I'll join! I don't know Sigil or Planescape well, though. It looks like you guys could use some tanking/healing support?
Yeah, it seems so.

@OneCrappy DM what is the rate of levelling? With the slowness of pbp, it could be years before we level. This might influence what I play.

@InVinoVeritas new players are always welcome, create a character from a setting you are familiar with. Sigil is basically the hub of the multiverse and is called the Cage because people randomly end up in there with no way out. An example of this is a Demi lich that ended up in sigil in one of the classic DND 2e isometric games, then ended up falling out a window portal and ended up in Fallout Tactics.

@TaranTheWanderer The First chapter should progress depending on how quick you move through the mystery, the chapter will end around level 3 to 5. At a minimum each story check point will get you a level, if you are playing a stronger race like a Gith you may be stuck at first level for a while due to your ability to summon psionic armor and have incredible dexterity.

At all, looks like we are full of characters keep an eye out if something happens or when the next chapter comes out. Original players will get first priority on the second chapter.

Hey guys,

It's been ages since I played 3.5. How do we figure out starting wealth, I can't remember?
Cheers,

SG

@Steve Gorak

Yeah those look like the ones out of the PHB, for some of the others like warlock you may have to go to the book responsible such as Complete Arcana. Let me know if you have anymore questions and I will try and get back to you as soon as possible.

Edit: I mostly use d20srd.org and the books I have when it comes to looking up these things.
