Your character has a bit more cred and knowledge about his reputation. From my character’s perspective though, and being fairly suspicious, it feels off. But I think it’ll be more fun to dive in.

I think Aril's about to suggest that, now that they've heard what they're being offered, (and haven't asked WHY) that they discuss it over dinner...elsewhere. I'm waiting for Luke to respond before suggesting that, though.

Discression is good. And in Sigil, discression costs jink.
(And so do spellslingers for hire.)

Not having asked "Why?", they haven't pryed into his affairs, so going out to dinner elsewhere shouldn't be a problem. Eliath has been missing a month already. Eating dinner ain't going to change that.
