Omgg!
Tell me something, is this "Fantasy Fighter 55" guy irrevokably and inherently stupid, or something?
Really, what the sod, he's completely ignoring everything around, not bothering to read, like his character exists somehow completely independantly from the reality surrounding him!
I don't know, either he'll edit and try reading before the next time he posts, and making sence while he does, or we'll just have to ignore his posts completely, and asume he's still tied down in that room and doesn't reply to anything.

Isn't there some rule about making minimal sence when you post? Doesn't completely ignoring what others post a form of powergaming/godmodding?

Player of Nocturan here, heh.

Err, just for reference Quathmoir, it would be polite to not refer to someone as being "irrevokably and inherently stupid", just because you have an issue with a post.

Secondly, he posted right before going offline, so he might have been tired. And as for the statement of powergaming/godmoding, it's not a fair assumption to say that you've tied someone up just because they didn't post a reaction to the attempt as happened on the thread. I believe that I speak for Nugan when I say that the Apathy Guildhall thread is freeform and upholds Freedom of Destiny, which means that it is the player of the character's choice as to what happens to them rather than the other characters around them. Basically, if he didn't let his character get tied up, the character didn't get tied up.

I'm sure that you're already aware of this, but I'm just here to clarify, being the only Apathy player awake at this hour.

So please, refrain from the personal insults and keep this a friendly place. :)

I didn't state that's what he is, i merely asked Nugan wether that is the case, siing as Nugan probably knows him, whereas i don't.

Not letting your character get tied up is one thing, ignoring everithing that's going on around is another.
This is an example of not letting your character get tied up:

"[colot=coral]Fantasy Fighter takes an unexpected step back, trips Lushay, sends Steelgrind rolling with a well-aimed kick, and folds his hands, looking with suprimacy at Eera for a moment, before snapping his fingers and dissappearing.[/coral]"

However, that isn't what he did. He just everything that happened completely, waited for us to make a cart-blanch out of it {note that no one killed or wounded him, so he can still escape, and do any other unnatural thing this player daffiantely tought his character to do}. When he eventuall did bother to post, he pretended that nothing even happened since his last visit {regarding infantilic egocentrism please turn to someone else; my specialisation is interactional psychology, not development psychology}, and just reappeared, although he never stated he dissapppears earlier {how the hell do you re-appear withot ever dissappearing? isn't that a little like waking up without ver falling asleep?}, and spoke to an undefined, and probably nonexistant audience {seeing as none of the guild members is around, and four Veiled Ones are sniffing around the guildhouse}.

Thanks for your help nugan. Streetcat, sorry about not posting in reply to you I was a little side tracked.

No problem, and Apathy will be returning to try to bail Jebbido out eventually. (Although they don't even realize that GoV has him at this point.

As for FF55, that's largely my fault, because: A) He's a good role-player, but he had never posted on the Guildhall thread before I pointed it out to him the night Apathy left and GoV moved in. & B) He didn't even remember the thread until he was reminded of it last night. So, if he's somewhat behind, it has more to be me being a delinquent Guildleader than any fault on his part. Sorry.

Well, i'm glad it's settled {i hope it is, i haven't checked the Apathy thread today yet, but i'm trusting you}. Still, i can't see how can it be your fault that FF doesn't read before posting and ignores his surroundings...

[Edit:]
Well, just checked it... and it seems that Lucere isn't very eager to read either. Oh well, i know looking for a specific post through several pages can be annoying, so i'll clearify and post it here:

Originally said & done by Zincaller:
Steelgrind lets the key fall to his feet, and with a hit of his boot sends it along the corridor's floor into the scrying hall.

"One of you will seek in ye room where Rocky is said to be constricted... ye other must attempt to activate the scrying surface yonder... while i shall examin these three halls..."

He begins walking towards the library, stops near the gnome, looks in his eyes, and sais very slowly:

"Wisheth thou to live on and escape perhaps? Follow my little child Eera, untill she renders thee dismissed... then come to me, and i shall grant thee thy chance..."

Steelgrind releases the lousy excuse of an informant without any harm at all,
and just before entering the library he turns back to Lucere.

"Before so, perhaps thou willeth to spectate our silent hostage? Do glance at him, i wager thy skills at bringing cries out of those too silent to speak are greate..."

With that he enters the library, and will probably stay there, checking different scrolls, reading some of them, untill someone calls for him, or something noteworthy happens.

From any posts i made later you can see he's still in the lybrary.

Just to make a couple things clear. For those that do not know I play Jebbido. I missed Streetcat's post so I am sorry for him not interacting with you. Also I know where Steelgrind was. Lucere was in the room to question the prisoner. After FF55 just reappearing I had to somehow make it believable, and not make it seem like Lucere was talking at thin air. So I just used Jebbido and had him suddenly just be there. Though Jebbido is no asassian, he is quiet good at sneaking around. And the thing with him running into steelgrind was on purpose. Jebbido knows that Lucere is a lycanthrope and knows that if he somehow made it outside he would easily be run down by the elf. So in a panic Jebbido just ran not really realizing where he was going, he just knew that he couldn't go for the entrance. What he wanted to do was find a crevice whole to go and hide himself in. :twitch: Ok I'n done now.
