Players please add equipment (max starting gold) to your character sheets as well as an appearance (a few sentences) and a background (a paragraph at least). Make sure you end your background with arriving in Trunau by yesterday for those that are not natives. The four of you ended up meeting because of your exotic races. You met at the Ramblehouse where all four of you have rooms (the only inn in town).

[sblock=Equipment Example Format]This goes with my example fighter:
CARRYING CAPACITY
Light: 76#
Medium: 153#
Heavy: 230#

EQUIPMENT
Explorer's Outfit (0gp, 0#, worn)
Banded Mail (250gp, 35#, worn)
Tower Shield (30gp, 45#, carried)
Longsword (15gp, 4#, belt)
Backpack (2gp, 2#, back)
Waterskin (1gp, 4#, pack)
Flint & Steel (1gp, 0#, pack)
Trail Rations (5sp, 1#, pack)
Bedroll (1sp, 5#, pack)
Whetstone (2cp, 1#, pack)
Torch (1cp, 1#, pack)
Treasure (3sp, 7cp, pack)
Total (300gp, 98#, medium)[/sblock]Remember that large size weapons and armor costs twice normal.

The double cost of equipment is the big reason I went for Rich Parents with this one. I am not sure it says anything about it in the rules, but for other large sized equipment should I double the cost and weight as well? Containers, bedrolls, that sort of thing.

I have decided to use the numbers from "Table: Armor for Unusual Creatures" in the equipment section of the core rules for all mundane equipment (with a few alterations). We will worry about magical items when we get that far. For Kaodi any equipment sized for your character will cost & weigh twice as much. Containers will hold four times as much. For Scotley any equipment sized for your character will cost half as much and weigh one quarter as much. Containers will hold 1/16 as much.

For carrying capacity times two for large characters and half for tiny characters.

Also if you have a picture that represents your character go ahead and post it. If not I will get one for you. I will use these when we are using a map.

I was actually thinking about a magical item that I think would be flavourful enough for my character: sleeves of many garments, for 200 gp. I could make them 2 lbs instead of 1 lb since they are for a large creature, but I do not think their magical effect would really cause a doubling in price, though that is of course for you to ultimately decide. Flavour wise, I was thinking that being a large person in a normal society makes getting appropriately tailored clothes a pain (as it apparently does in the real world as well), so that was something that he splurged on a magical item for that would just deal with it.

RE: sleeves of many garments

Price: 220gp (I ruled that the mundane portion was 10% and doubled just that)
Weight: 2#
