Background:
In the blackened sky, in which no stars were lighted, where no reflect were discovered, clouds lifted with sadness danced, revealing their dreadful sorrow over the desecrated world. The pure water, divine reminiscence escape from the untainted soul of gods, fell freely, suicidal, knowing with certainty that her tumbling would be concluded by her irrevocable stain, her infamous corruption when she’d horribly meet the muddy, dirty soil. It would accumulate, slowly, over the tops of the tallest mountains, until its own weight would carry it treacherously to the mount’s roots. It infiltrated, pernicious, solid rocks, gnawing the immovable matter, as would an enraged mouse with the fossilized corpse of a dead cat, drawing under the world’s entrails secret passages that only it knew. In only one place, it formed a community of its own in a strange, artificial pool, created by an unnatural force. The water, polished like a mirror, was still, only troubled by a thin river filling the bath, continually. It was warm, comforting, and seemed to be there to serve a role, a cause incomprehensible to mere mortals.
An enormous mass fell, piercing the colorless web, savagely shouting pagan prayers to false idols. That scary creature was disturbing the aquatic peace with its muscled arms, inviting at her sides the pregnant women of the clan, ready to deliver her children. We could distinguish females from me by their less disgusting odor, as well as the absence of sharpened fangs, clutched to their solid jaw.
The females, slowly, went to join, in the soiled water, their priestess who thought herself worthy of being responsible of births. One by one, they sled in the warm waters, putting their massive backs against gigantic stones, while the exalted woman prayed frantically, in transe, pronuncing comforting words. Then, suddenly, her paws broke the lake's surface!
Angry cries, indigned pleas rose in the dark cavern. Anyone could feel, under the rocky vault, all the anger prisonner within the females' hearts, ready to give birth suddenly. With a simple prayer, with an intercession to Ganesta, goddess of fertility, the preacher had provoked, mischievous planificator, the contractions of her peers. They laid, their legs opened, their bellies changing dimension under the rythm of their sporadic breaths, their eyes rolling in their orbits under the malevolent influence of the fulgurant pain.
The water was touched by a reddish hue, and, with a few minutes, we could distinguish, and the mud and the seaweeds, some little creatures, almost without a definite form. Some drowned, while some reached the surface. It was how the mighty race of the ettins remained powerful : the weakest members were eliminated at birth, if they were unable to fight the first struggle they met. They had to learn that life was not a gift, but an unrewarding challenge. Sadly, not all mothers thought like that, and many times per year mothers saved their own children from the death, thus weakening the whole tribe. It was the priestess' duty to watch over the genitors, hoping none would cheat today.
Many babies get top the surface unharmed, to the greatest joy of those assembled within and around the dirty pool. Many laughed, hugged, and were relieved their children were safe when, all of a sudden, a terrified female shrieked in horror. On the farther side of the lake, a woman was holding her infant out of the water, keeping it from drowning to the bottom. The baby cried like a cow being murdered, and stupidly drew all the attention to it, bringing to its side the priestess, legitimate figure of authority, as well as two male ettins, who circled around the pool to reach the panicked female. Strangely, she didn't seem afraid of those coming at her, but of what she was currently struggling with. With a nearer, clearer approach, the priestess noticed that the bizarre female did not try to save her baby's life - she was trying to strangle it, to drown it under the water where none could see it. Under the other adults orders', she left the monster away, crying all her tears, leaving the bath running.
The baby, however, was still prisonner of the violent waves, sent in all directions. it plunged in the waters, emerged only long enough not to die from lack of air, was the victim of the current. Around it, adults looked at it with pity, forbidden to either save its life or end its sufferings. Nevertheless, a glimpse of luck or the gentle kiss of destiny caressed the young creature, sending it to the pool's side, allowing it to grab a rock, on the solid ground. It left itself with its arms, mounting on the rocky ground, its faces sliding on the stones.
Swiftly, the priestess jumped of the water, and reached it's side. she touched his belly, pushing on it to squirt out the water. She casted a few orisons, hoping they could bless the child and keep it alive. It is only after lengthy efforts, after making sure it'd survive, that she turned it on its back, wishing to see his teeth, to see its sex. She plunged her greasy finger in the child's right head, trying to discover the massive teeth known among the males of the race. Glad was she to discover them. Despite its obvious orphanage, the child would grow strong and mighty, admired, especially with tusks that long. She opened the maw, so the baby would breather easily, and did the same with the other head. What was her surprise! In the other head...no fangs were visible, no mark of manhood or virility present. Still, the priestess couldn,t believe what she saw. She looked back at the right head, if only to testify her apprehension...Yes, there were tusks in that maw. How was it possible?
Then, she realized it. She realized that what she just took care of was an aberration, a perversion...a freak of anture. she understood why the poor mother, scared, tried to murder it. She understood that its life would be a hellish nightmare, that it would be the victim of mockeries and insults. ONly one thing did she not comprehend : the reason Ganeshta saved its life. But she knew, deep within herself, that it was her solemn responsibility to take care of that abandonned infant. She took it, hid its visages in her massive breasts, and told the crowd she had finished her work ith them, that the ceremony was finished. With an hasty pace, she returned to her sanctuary, an isolated cave, a few feet away from the constant activity driven by the ettins.

* The inventory list has been more or less agreed among the two players. I'm posting now because I am tired of waiting, and because I want to give a boost so we can start playing!
Anyway, just know that the "gear" list may change. Thank you.
