Worth noting that Glabbagool would constantly ask the "talking food" it traveled with if they would be so kind as to poop out in the open so it could enjoy a snack.
Then again, the bearer of the stonespeaker crystal absolutely refused to use it to cast Speak With Plants after he used it on a patch of mushrooms to ask about what creatures passed through the area. The mushrooms were happy to help, but also kept asking the PC to poop on them, because that would help them grow. Maybe it was the high pitched singsong voice I used for them. Or maybe it was the fact that after he left without pooping on them, the mushrooms let loose with a chorus of disappointed moans and wails, followed by shrieks and death screams -- as Glabbagool, who was still following the party, swept over them all and ate them.
