Oots 0722 - Block and Tackle

I found their parents in this strip.

It's certainly plausible that he's changed armor since Elan was a baby.

Seems likely.
- Elan's father was apparently a general of a nigh-unstoppable army. Nale would have been around and have an opportunity to betray/leave the cause in some non-trivial fashion, especially if his dad was grooming him for some position of authority.
- The general was apparently called specifically to the throne room, and not for a scheduled meeting. Why, unless he would care about this bounty in some specific way?
- The father is apparently lawful evil. The general's behavior is at least consistent with that (although we would expect that for any general of this empire.)
- (Edit) The title of comic could be a double entendre if Elan is the fruit of the general's loins, so to speak. Certainly there is precedent.

I like the helmet guy already. Honorable villains have always been my favorite.

That was the best final panel in a long time!

Yes, it was. Will probably make for an awkward situation when Haley is hauled back into the throne room, though. :)

EDIT: Just noticed the familiar in the last panel, forgot he went down after Haley. I guess so that V could catch her with Feather Fall in the first place. Good teamwork!
