I liked the "Now that you've fulfilled your story purpose, I find I have no interest in speaking to you any longer" longer.

Sounds like something I'd say under one of my DMs cause his NPCs tend to be annoying to speak with, except I'd say something more like "Okay, this guy is annoying the Heck outta me, but we've finally got everything we need from him, so we can leave."

There was a Futurama episode with an NPC who summed it up better. To paraphrase it was something like "I am done now and will go home. I live here though so I won't actually be going anywhere, but you don't have to pay attention to me anymore."

I liked the elements of the funny, Belkar's stuff, the explanation, the kobold, the ducky, but overall it lacked something. I think my problem with the strips is that they're too drawn out.

I think OotS should go to a more frequent update with fewer panels, it'd probably flow a lot better. I know it won't happen, but still.

Also, Belkar's evilness was always amusing, though he's no Black Mage, but it seems like a lot of the PC's are getting too moody.

While everyone ignores the perdiction that BELKAR WILL DIE SOON

One year in game time is what like 20 levels of advancement for a dedicated adventurer? I think even with such a doom he will be around for a while.
