I still would have liked the previous strip (and this one) better if the kobold had managed to kill Belkar. It's not as though Belkar is the only way to provide conflict or to show contrast between characters without an external bad guy agency.

That is, in essence, the point of the character, though. You're not supposed to like him. You're supposed to dislike him. He's there to foster conflict and show contrast between characters without having to rely on an external 'badguy' agency.

Terwox - I dunno, it made me giggle. I could very much see this happening at a gaming table. Heck, I could see me DOING this with a character.

Eh... V deserves it to kill Belkar... ;)

Made me laugh. Belkar is 100% the 10-year-old D&D'er who knows enough about the game to try and gross out his friends and is constantly trying to get the party into more trouble than they can handle. In a real game that's annoying as hell, but in a comic... just great.

I'm loving OOTS at the moment, every strip has something new for me to laugh or think about. Good job Rich!

Err, I can't be alone in enjoying Belkar eating chips out of Yok-yok's head, can I? Eh, eh? :)

I liked it. Extra-chunky, good stuff!
No you're not. I laughed out when I read it. It might be sick, but a funny kind of sick. Belkar is Evil.

Poor Roy, what he has to put up with. :)
