I didn't think a force cage could be tipped over, but otherwise I quite liked this strip. It will be interesting to see if the creature in the darkness is finally revealed or not. I too think it will be difficult for Miko to leave while still good. I wouldn't put it past Xykon to have put a dozen different things in her way, ever more delaying her in reaching the city - all the better to push her over the edge and into falling.
Hmm, when you think about it, Nale and his group is the more or less equal level foe, while Xykon is the foe the party is growing towards facing. It would make sense, in an odd way, for Xykon himself to have a group. Greenhilt can go after Xykon, Belkar can go after a fallen Miko, Redcloak can perhaps be Durkon's opposite, and now we just need a couple to work against Elan and Haley. Perhaps Nale and his succubus ally can somehow join Xykon's group after powering up a bit? Somehow I doubt it, but you never know . . .
