That's the first thing Miko has done that hasn't made me want to sacrifice her on an altar of evil...

One of the most impressive moments in the history of the series, for me, was the moment that Miko was looking at her hands right after she killed Shojo. Despite the stick figure format, Rich masterfully yet subtley conveyed the "What have I done ...?" moment, truly some evocative storytelling that made her immediate reversion to "It's everyone's fault but mine!" that much sadder. Now we see a side that may take her in the right direction after all. Rich is doing some great characterization between hilarious jokes, no doubt about it. No wonder we all love this strip!

It would have been out of character for Miko to accept. She still thinks she hasn't fallen for heavens sake. Accepting anything from an obvious fiend is still al long way off if it's ever going to happen.

On the other hand maybe getting some treasure type O from Sabine would have mellowed her out. Not to mention entertained Belkar.
