Uh, that ship's gone and sailed.. Roy is currently in a long-distance relationship with Celia the sylph paralegal. He's waaay over Miko by now.

I do agree that Miko becoming a Blackguard seems less likely then her someone redeeming herself before death at some point.

Here's a scary thought.. What if, during the invasion, the Hobgoblins break into the jail and Miko and Belkar are forced to work together to fight them? :uhoh:
On point the first, that was kind of the reason for the whole, oh crap, now I have feelings for her again, but hey, whatever. :)

On point the third, what if Belkar and Miko become romantically involved because of all of this, now there is a match made in Hell, which would pretty much mean that she qualifies for the Blackgaurd PrC now.

Plus, this would allow the Linear Guild to escape as well - they, too, are too interesting to be stuck in jail.

Bleah. I'd rather see most of them dead--as in permanently.

They've had their time in the spotlight. I can't agree that they're interesting; I'm bored silly of them.

Thog can survive. But if this is the last we ever see of Nale and Sabine, it's not soon enough.

Actually, I don't think Nale's role in the story is quite done yet. Haley's father is still a captive in the Western land of Tyrania, which is also where one of the Gates is located.

And wouldn't you know it.. Nale and Elan's father is a cold and ruthless general who's personal banner has a big "T" on it. T for Tyrania, perhaps?

...And really, if Elan ends up meeting his father, it wouldn't be a family reunion unless Nale was there as well.

Wouldn't it be something if Elan and Haley were actually siblings. Wait...eeeewwwwww.

How does having Monk levels make her _not_ useless? ;)

Oh yeah. I forgot that she is not a just a paladin but also a monk. Would that make her a "ponk" or a "moladin"? J/K

Still...she goes up to her, snaps her neck in one panel and she is fine the next? Did I miss something?

There's no "Snap Neck" action in D&D. The way I see it, she just dealt damage.

Technically, this is probably true, but I think people are over analyzing this. It was one of my favorite scenes in some time. Enjoy it.:)

More Thog.

Other than that:

Get on with it already.

Not that it is bad, but this whole waiting around for the inevitable invasion... its been hanging over us for months now.
