Every single character that appears in more than one strip has a big fan club, charismatic or not. However, she has the biggest hate club.

Because he was thinking with the "Trouser Titan" at that time; that means she's good looking, not charismatic. Everyone else in the party hated her guts from strip #1.

I wonder if O-Chul is actually alive. He could tell the party about what Miko did (since the party isn't currently in a position to find out). Durkon could prep and cast Speak with Dead the next day, if he feels the need.

Eh. Belkar, V and Haley hated her from her first appearance. Durkon and Elan were just fine with her, and of course Roy was smitten.

I'm fairly certain that Belkar hated her because, well, Belkar hates everyone. The fact that she was a Paladin made it all the more fun for him to pick on her. And Haley hated her because Miko's a Paladin and therefore "The Law". V, well, V may be less misanthropic than Belkar but not by much. V seemed to be more annoyed that Miko was arresting them than s/he was about Miko the person, at least until everyone got to know Miko better, and then her annoying personality shone through.

I suspect that Miko is actually supposed to have an above average Charisma - 12 or 13 maybe. I doubt she has any ranks in Diplomacy or Bluff though. What you see with Miko is what you get - raw and unlikable as she may be.

My guess is that Miko and O-Chul are still alive. Even 20d6 with a bad roll for damage and made save would pretty much give you that, and Rich is fine with such usage of rules and convient lucky rolls. Miko probably doesn't become a blackguard by otherwise will be a pain in the ass and if she ever atones, it will be right before death, but I wouldn't hold my breath for either. O-Chul doesn't have X's and is in the enemy camp probably having a tea party for awhile. He probably does come back and tells everybody of Miko's actions right about the time she convinces everybody to hate the OotS and sets them straight. Meanwhile, they'll raise Roy and head to the next gate to stop Xyclon.

I wonder if Hinjo will join the party now that the Saphire Guard is pretty much wiped out to a man, there's no gate left to protect, and he has an army of nobles who are both lusting for his blood and will likely be able to do a better job than he will at restoring the city.
