The Lawyers would swoop in if he mentioned it, ;) but there's a feat in Complete Adventurer that says basically if you make a certain Jump check while making a charge, you get double our damage from the power attack you make, or something like that (It's been a while since I looked it up).
Leap attack.

Either that or the Dm is letting Belkar use Iron Heroes jumping stunts

Well, then we'd have no way of knowing it happened at all, so what would be the point? It's not like this is a real D&D campaign where the exact level of the characters actually matters.
Although sometimes details that reveal the character's total level do come up, like how many soldiers V could affect with Mass Enlarge Person or what spells the party has available or what other class features characters have.

Belkar will probably get that level back thanks to the Resistance's Cleric and Paladin members or making his save, but that will probably be offscreen unless it advances the plot or can make for a good joke.

Or, as we've seen before, it'll happen in the background of a panel with some off-hand remark, while more important dialogue is taking place at the same time.

But Rich can fudge on that all he wants. If V casts a buff spell that affects 13 people, but 100 strips later casts the same spell and it only affects 12, it's not like that would be at all important to the plot or the storyline. Most readers probably wouldn't even notice.

Similarly, it doesn't matter whether or not Belkar gets the level back, because his level has nothing to do with what he can do in the comic. It's completely up to Rich.

Fortunately, being in the company of paladins and clerics, it won't be excessively difficult for Belkar to have that negative level removed... or for him to make the DC 14 Fort save to get it back after 24 hours.

Paladin: I can remove that negative level for you

Belkar: You Can?

Paladin: No problem, first I need you to put down that lead sheet...

Belkar: Nevermind

Wow. He's killing undead with daggers. That's actually impressive. Especially since he has no sneak attack and he'sa halfling.

And he can't use Power Attack with daggers, them being light weapons and all.

Perhaps he's got some really good daggers and/or Favored Enemy (Undead)?
