Forgot to mention ... I think there could be an immense amount of fun involved in playing up the differences between 4E, 3.5, and Pathfinder. For example, what if Roy came back as a Pathfinder fighter?

Rich just posted a short essay on this on his news page. The short version: OOTS will not convert but will begin to incorporate 4E jokes when it suits him.

Which makes sense, since Elan, Xykon, Thog, Therkla, Leeky, Nale, and probably some others I'm forgetting would all have to switch to either their race or class to be 4E-legal.
