So I'm guessing either the Oracle has a "get out of death free" card for next panel, or we get to see Haley chew the diminutive bloodthristy cretin a new one. Hooray.

Although something could be said for adventurers being far too literal in their thinking, as the Oracle was right on the chain of events regarding "causing the deaths" of those people.

And since the Oracle did say that Belkar shouldn't make any long-term investments, maybe the little kobold will have the last laugh after all.

I hate Belkar, except when I don't.

Belkar is excellent, probably the most entertaining character there. I'd not want him in my D&D group though as he'd likely end up being more like Wulf Ratbane's peck who didn't have much teh funny.
