SEC approved was the best part, no question. Great reference to certain goings on I'm not allowed to discuss here.

Celia irritates me to no end. Every time that dumb little sylph opens her mouth, I just want Haley to punch her.

I liked her for a long time, tolerated her recently, but this was going too far.

Personally I feel a little sorry for Haley.
Recall that one of the main reasons she is stealing so much is to pay the ransom to free her father - the former Guild leader - who was betrayed and imprisoned due to the current (rather frosty) Guilder leader.

Thus, by losing half of her gained wealth the chances of her success are rather greatly delayed - all to the benefit of the current Guild Leader whom she almost killed (and likely still wants to kill).

Also, as I recall, most of the wealth she has gained she has also lost - such as at the inn fire when they were captured by Miko. Does half of the lost wealth also count towards this penalty payment? If so, she could lose everything - or nearly so - that she has saved up since leaving the Guild.

As for Celia, I'm beginning to think that she is meant to replace Miko - a sort of stereotypical irritating player who goes out of their to have their character do things in a different way - even if it is at the expense of the rest of the party. Miko was a Paladin so strict in her lawful ways and so prone to misunderstanding that she eventually fell. Celia is a pacifist so strict in her non-aggressive ways that she'll even go behind other player's backs to arrange for deals that work against other PCs or perhaps even the party. Granted, from her point of view she is in the right - just as Miko was certain that from her own point of view she was in the right. It will be interesting to see how this works out. Personally, I'm hoping Celia will eventually turn aside from pacifism, but considering the prior example of Miko, I'm guessing she will not.

Celia's a lawyer. So...is it even a "legally binding" agreement to half of Hlaey's earnings if Haley never agreed to the deal herself? Can you actually do something like that? Without a given person's consent or at least some signature giving the deal-maker legal right to speak for her? I really hope not...

I'm honestly not sure why Haley and Belkar didn't just ignore her in the first place. It wasn't like they were at any sort of disadvantage. Heck, Haley and Belkar would have easily been able to take Hank and the others, even if they had to fight Celia too. I'm pretty sure that mistake won't be happening again.

Celia says money that she has STOLEN, not money that she has EARNED. It only applies to robberies, thefts, and other illegal activities that the Guild manages, I assume. The dragon hoard wouldn't count.

And that money was therefore earned illegally, and not Haley's in the first place. If it can be used to bring people back to life and give them a second chance, why shouldn't it be taken? Those people died partly because of Celia's actions, if she can restore them from the ill-gotten loot of the person that killed them, then that's a worthwhile idea. Remember, she opposed killing hobgoblins who had occupied Azure City, so to her, killing is always wrong; there is no self-defense exception.

What I find funny is that I am 99% certain that The Point of Celia right now is to showcase how much we all accept rampant violence in our hobby, to the point where murder is our first choice for solving problems in-game, and how horrific that would look to an outsider with no gaming experience. And in response, everyone hates her because she doesn't accept rampant violence, and their first choice for dealing with her is murder.
