I could see Redcloak leaving his eye unhealed as a reminder to himself to be constantly vigilant. After all, what does a cleric need depth perception for?

One-eyed goblins? That sounds like a bizarre form of Black Company pun.

(I don't think that's what Rich had in mind, but it's what I think of.)

He'll keep his missing eye so that later he can get an eye patch, a miniature pteranodon to sit on his shoulder, a ship, and a crew of hobgoblin pirates. Without a missing eye it wouldn't be so neat.

Even the my current game is in Mythical Ireland, I really have to include O-Chul. How does Fearghus O'Choole sound?

We were all thinking of a heel-face turn for the Monster in the Darkness. But given the events in Start of Darkness, anyone else think that this might be the path to Redcloak's redemption?

Spoilers for Start of Darkness:

Redcloak disintegrated his brother, One-Eye, to save Xykon. One-Eye lost his eye to a paladin. On the other hand, this might also tip Redcloak over the edge...

Spoilers over.

Wow. Awesome!

So I predict that O-Chul will die, V's finally got some sense beaten into shimself, V will take the phylactery and somehow return to the rest of the OotS, and Xykon will chase after to try and get it back.

A truly epic strip. After everything he's been through, O'Chul walks through a disintegrate to take out Redcloak (almost)... leaving a brilliant sub-plot with the thing-in-the-whatever in his wake.
