Y'know, what if Dashing Swordsman has a feature that includes being unable to permanently lose levels due to negative levels gained from "intimate contact"?

Would make sense for the class.

Would also explain why Elan was so bold and unafraid to kiss Sabine.

As for the title of the comic: "We recommend Tsukiko", I'm sure at least one part of Haley's psyche that's usually hiding in the corner will greatly approve: OotS 382

Rich really does love those long-payoff gags like that.

Or maybe Rich just wants to write fun stories and thumb his nose at gamers trying to rules lawyer a riff.

Nale is calling Tarquin a shortsighted fool? Nale? Ha!

Tarquin isn't using his resources to conquer the world because he saw what that got him last time he tried that with just the Western Continent. Nale OTOH, is so hell-bent on revenge, that he returns to a city where he has a large price on his head.

Who's shortsighted?

That is unless Nale followed through on his comments in this stripand managed to beat the OotS to Girard's Gate while they were busy with a split party.

I think you don't get the general idea that Nale is after all a total moron Giant In the Playground Games
