[OOTS] sympathy for Xycon

You know how Xycon can never remember who Roy is and has oly the vaguest memories of the fight which led to a two generation blood feud from the Greenhilt family? While it's played for laughs that Xycon is both so evil the killings don;t stand out and so absent minded he can't keep track of the guy who destroyed his physical body and made him regrow a new one, I'm actually feeling some sympathy.

Why? Because in my current campaign I'm playing in, we have "blood enemies" and "death feuds" popping out of the woodwork who we couldn't care less about and barely know why they hate us! "Die, my lifelong enemy! Our feud ends here!" "Um, OK, who are you again? I really don't feel like having a feud right now, but- Damn, another one ran right onto my sword. Talking is a free action, why can't these guys spare a round to listen?"

Have you ever had one of those adventures where you feel like Xycon?

Yeah, they SAY you can stop at any time and keep the Capulets as a Free Gift, but its this big hassle trying to actually do it and when you want to send one back you have to subdue them and pay shipping yourself!

Yeah, if they've taken any lethal damage, they charge you anyway and continue that blood feud. :\ I knew it was too good to be true...
