Paizo Publishing LLC does NOT have the subscription data. We have NOT received the subscription money paid to the subscription agency. We are not allowed to have the subscription data due to Euro privacy laws. We have been trying to solve the problem. We have a little over 700 Dragon subscribers and a little over 400 Dungeon/Polyhedron subscribers in Europe that have been affected by this problem. All of the companies involved want to see the subscription funds refunded and are working toward it.

Paizo DOES have to be extremely closed-mouthed about this situation due to legal matters.

750 European subscribers have in NO WAY endangered our 50,000 paid circulation. In fact, we have had many issues over the last eight months over 55,000 even without those subscribers. Do we LIKE writing off Europe? NO WAY! Do I like reading messages that misrepresent my position? Actually, all of you who have accused me of malfeasance and incompetence, not to mention rudeness, are probably stroking that sick part of my personality that enjoys playing and writing about villains.

Speaking only for myself, im glad to hear that Pazio are trying to solve the problem. However if Pazio had actually replied to my emails then i wouldnt have been complaining about it on here.

It was the fact that nobody from anyone involved in the problem has had the decency to reply to my calls/emails etc.

Johnny, thank you for stating Paizo's case. If an apology had been posted on the Paizo Web Site 3 months ago you would not be getting all this bad press.

You didn't need to tell us all the gory details, just PUBLICALLY, in a PROMINENT and permenant place, tell subscribers that they will not be receiving the rest of their subscription.

Write about Villains all you want (not that the ex-subscribers on the other side of the Atlantic will get to read it). While you are at it, please tell us:

Who are the villains who still have our money?

Additional

Oh, and the money was taken out of my account by Hasbro UK, not by a "subscription agency", therefore Hasbro UK is legally responsible for refunding the money.

Any the British all know how honest Hasbro UK has been in recently.

I'm sure your emails (plural) are not the only ones flooding their mail servers, and you expect them to answer all of them individually? After he has already made a public statement earlier that they are currently working on the problem but can't discuss it publicly?

* shakes head in disappointment *

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Err sorry to dissapoint you the fact that I would like some sort of response to my email's and phone calls, silly me. Actually replying to messages seems good sense to me, whether it be indiviually or in a group email.

And just to clarify as in a response to these emails I would gladly have taken a message on Pazio's web site as to the fact that they were having difficulty with the european subscriptions and will be trying to resolve it. The fact is that this is the first official response I have seen from Pazio, everything else has come second hand.

Hi,

OK, let's give the guy a break...he did what you wanted and responded.

BTW, I have been affected by this situation too, before anyone from the Basingstoke area accuses me of anything - :) hey Hammer, we're almost neighbours!

Can we have more details on the lost Haggis instead? That sounds much more fun to follow!

Lewy.

I do expect Paizo to reply to me.

I do expect Paizo to make a public statement. They have still not made one. Various messages from them on a message board do not a statement make.

I expect Paizo to be honest. I expect Paizo to make a public statement, on their own website, and via press release, not hidden away on some message board. How are Paizo keeping subscribers informed? They are not. They are relying on word of mouth to spread their message, so we get the current "chinese whispers"

He can whine all he likes about his problems, but unless he comes clean he will not get any respect from European subscribers.

So then why post an open message to them on a public message board in the first place?
