Open World Press nominated for two Gamewyrd Awards!

Well, Jeff, you usually have pretty damn good recommendations. I'm glad you liked Thumble and yes, Vampires by BIG is also a favorite of mine.

Okay, I like what I've read of Oester so far. But it includes something that I find a little annoying. pg 57 there is a neat little item called the Black Tome of Necromancy. After reading the book one can take levels in the Necromancer class (to be detailed later).

Any chance of getting this as a web enhancement or something? :D

Well, I wanted to include a Necromancer class in the book, but ran out of time. It will have to wait for another supplement. Otherwise, you can just ignore it, create your own Necromancer, or use one that is out there. I'm not sure if there is one out there though. Is there?

Congratulations, Ed! But I'm not surprised, because your work is very, very good. I finally got Village of Oester, and I'm loving it.

Thank you, Buttercup! I always appreciate your kind words and support. :)

I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying Oester! Please be sure to let me know if you have any thoughts you'd like to share by PMing or e-mailing me.

I ran Oester at our local convention here last Saturday. In 4 hours the party was able to make their way thru the tower and meet Vernest (actually they killed him). Everyone had a great time, and I'll be running another game at GenCon (this one 6 hours).

My current campaign is in Oester now, and will be in my story hour shortly. One thing I thought I knew before starting Oester in my campaign, was that the adventure would be a little more combat orientated than even The Hamlet of Thumble was. However Oester really has a deep story that the characters get to peice together. If knowledge is power, the characters get to hold all the power. :)

I had the most fun playing with the "outcasts" in the swamp, a couple of changes and the party really got hampered there.

Great story Ed! Keep 'em coming. :D
