The Core Books give opening a door as a Move Equivalent Action drawing No Attack of Opportunity.
Is there anything published by WoTC that further defines what Action opening or closing a door is?
IMC this is expanded to:
Opening a door with a handle/knob/latch/device that can be easily found without looking -- MEA -- No AoO
Opening a swinging door (Western Saloon or Restaurant Kitchen type) -- Free Action -- No AoO
Opening a door with an opening mechanism that must be looked at -- MEA -- Yes AoO
Closing a door -- Free Action -- No AoO
Note that these are typical, non-mechanical doors. Some difficult doors will swing slower.
