I tested this program for work, along the same lines as what you were saying, how did it compare to other PDF programs in utility and effectiveness. I removed it shortly after testing and continue to use Adobe.
First of all, it's not so much a program as it is a printing filter. You create the document in another program (image editor, word processor, whatever) and then choose to print in that program. PDF creates a new 'printer' that outputs to a pdf file. It runs fairly fast, but not particularly faster than Adobe. And then once it is finished, you can open the document with acrobat reader. That's it. There is no editing capabilty, no sizing, nothing like that. You do all your editing in whatever program you have, then create a PDF file by 'printing to pdf' basically.
If you already have adobe or another pdf producer, I'd say it's not worth bothering with. If you don't have one, and just want to create simple pdf files, and can find it cheap, then it might be worth picking up. Otherwise, nope, I can't recommend it.
