Opinions asked about a cleric character

I'm sure Corellon is the Elven god of war or at least he's got the war domain. The Elf domain is in the FRCS but also in Deities and Demi-gods.

Corellon is in the PHB, and he has the War domain (for longsword). I would go the path of a spell casting/turning cleric that went for the Contemplative class. And I would stock up on Endurance ASAP

Or, you could make him a Wizard with lots of ranks in Knowledge (religion). In that way he could still be a priest, but without divine spells.

isnt there an Elven diety that grants you an Archer feat?
i say this cause i read a thread a while ago about a cleric/fighter bow user combo, with a diety and the elf domain...
tell me if im wrong
