Just started a game two weeks ago and so far it's great fun. My character, Wade Wilson (A Deadpool rip off charater for those in the know), has thus far run over a guy on a motorcycle in a chase, beat the crap out of a lead on an IRA snich, and been gunned down in an ambush set by a group of IRA baddies! I highly recommend it.

And i can't wait to use that Flamethrower i picked up on those crappy guys what shot the heck out of me.:D

Great game. :)

As written has a very james bond action movie feel to it. Characters huttle around in fast cars in cool chases, conuct lighting investigations/interrogations before charging of after the lastest lead. Very high pressure, very intense and fast. Great fun :-)

Good or bad point: Note, with the rules as written killing poeple with guns is more a matter of going *crit, crit, crit* under your breath and rolling the dice. Characters are VERY tough due to large amount of wound + vitality points at first level, they are considerably more durable than first level D&D characters.

Yes, Spycraft is better than D&D 3e! You can also take a lot of Spycraft material and use it in your D&D game, such as feats and action dice.

WoTC's d20 Call of Cthulhu is also great, if not as mainstream in its appeal as Spycraft. You could mix and match Spycraft to create RESIDENT EVIL or NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD or other modern horror settings! :D

I just finished reading through the Spycraft Lite download. All I can say is WOW!

Action Dice: A nice idea. I wonder how it feels during actual gameplay.

Actions: I have been saying for a long time, the actions as described in the 3e PHB were a little confusing, until read several times. Breaking it down to half and full actions only is fantasic! This is the way I like it.

Cover, Supressive, and Strafing Fire: Meat and potatoes of gun combat. I love these, and they are an excellent adaptation of firearms to d20.

Chases: Oh, yes! Great stuff.

I was not intertested in modern genre, BUT the game itself seems by far too good in quality for me to pass up.

I adore Spycraft! If you like the lite rules, it's definitely worth the money for the big rulebook. I especially love the martial arts feats! You want a Jackie Chan style secret agent? Not a problem...
