We should probably continue to fill one container each, anyway.” He turns to the woman. “You are the second person in this season to warn us of the clergy. I am inclined to believe you, just from instinct. I am carrying several measures of Tranquility. I can trade that for our baths. We can also check with you on such substances before reporting to the Pavilion, if you are so inclined to deal.”

Whiron retrieves his hat and replaces it on his head, nodding slightly, and extending two fingers in response to Jalakaag. “We will give you two of our fish from today. I hope you are true to your word. It is good to know that there is someone else who is looking toward a future with an end to this drudgery in which we live. Everyone else seems resigned to it. As for the fishing, the trick is to use bait and wait. I will explain more when we see you again. May you find water and shade.”
