We had a memorable moment in our game last week, and one of my players has asked me to share it.
The party was wandering around a seemingly deserted tower inhabited by strange and amoral Eladrin. The Orc Barbarian walked into the empty dining hall, and our jackass Monk shut the door on him. When the party opened the door, he wasn't there. The Eladrin had taken him...
Turns out the strange and alien Eladrin found the Orc amusing. Their wicked children especially loved him, and his Dire Wolf mount. He went off into one of the large empty rooms and invented a new game with the children, where the Barbarian would pick up a child and throw it full force across the room, after which the Eladrin child would Fey Step before the inevitable crash. Most fun the children ever had. He told them stories of all the blood he had spilled, heads he had chopped off, and corpses he had descrated. They just ate it up. The children were sorry to see him go, and they gave him one of their toys to remember them by. Its the Barbarian's most treasured possession.
