That orcs site rocks, do any of you know of any decent secrets out there like a hidden gem of a homebrew web site or something like that?

This will get me started I have whipped out the Visa and Amazon and Drive through. Some of the amazon titles are 3-5 week delivery but I have the time so it works.

Thanks,

Any other gems would be swell....

As you recommended the book yourself, I can only think you meant my comment about the illustrations? There are quite a few in the book that make me laugh, in a positive sense :)
LOL, that actually is pretty funny

I found Mongoose's Slayer's Guide to Orcs pretty good, here's a link to the review on enworld, and here's a link to DriveThruRPG where you can buy it if you want.

Reality Deviant Publications (RDP) through Ronin Arts has a series of NPC Antagonists books, called 'A touch of evil'. Volume 1 is all about orcs, and here's a link to the product page at rpgnow.

Hope it helps, lior
The A Touch of Evil: Antagonists in Your Game line is excellent quality. I owe them a review on the hobgoblins one. :heh: Best books I've ever seen for good fluff about the cultures of these demihumans.

1e dragon and one of the best of dragons had a great article on orcish gods, not sure if it was repeated in 1e Unearthed Arcana. 2e monster mythology had some orc stuff.

Dark folk from Roleaids had 1e evil humanoid stuff but I didn't really care for it and only remember the goblin and kobold stuff though I think they have orcs as well.

Green ronin has their own orc game I believe (predates d20).

Earthdawn has a sourcebook on the orcs of Cara Fahd or something close to that.

Warhammer FRP and 20K has neat orc stuff.

Gazetteer 10: The Orcs of Thar, for the Basic D&D/Mystara system. The DM's guide presents the orcish (and other humanoid) nations that live in the Known World's Broken Lands. It also describes their history, cultures, and an underground orcish city, among other things. The Player's Guide also describes orcs and goblins and such, provides rules for playing them as characters (out of the scope of the original Basic rules), and lists names, etc.

There is a decidedly humorous edge to much of the Gazetteer, but it is still a pretty good source of information.

One my favorites rpg sourcebooks in any system. It is certainly humorous but also is very clever in portraiting the orcs.
