Count me in as an OOTS fan. We often refer to it at the gaming table. :)

I really like the 'I think I failed a spot check' and other meta-gaming-thinking. I also like the artwork.

I even wrote a software utility that downloads / downloaded the OOTS images to my harddisk, so now I have an 'offline' OOTS collection. I run the utility every week to keep my collection up to date

LOL I have that one hanging on my wall at work
:D

I always loved the lyrics to Elan's bardic music. A very cynical but funny look at it.

"Bluff, bluff, bluff the evil ogre!"

"Now I'm all confused! I wish there was another moral axis to consider"
<pop!> <pop!>
"Turquoise bicycle shoe fins actualise radishes greenly!"
"1000111100111001111001111000111!"
"So much for law and chaos."

That'd have to be my favourite scene, out of admittedly a heck of a lot of candidates.

I've had the EXACT same experience (and resulting argument) with familiars as in #154.

"Birds fly over ALL DAY LONG. Why would they all decide to randomly shoot that one?"

Great stuff. I like the character-driven strips more, but it's all pretty sharp.

"I haven't named any of my other class features."

'Blackwing' reminded me of a game I was in where a raven got named on the fly (er, so to speak), and ended up called 'Darkwing'- which of course is the name of a Disney cartoon character (Batman/Ducktales cross). So everytime this particular feathered friend got mentioned we would break into the theme song ("Lets- get- dangerous!"). Really tweaked the GM- but hey, maybe he'll be more careful with names next time!

I do like the game-mechanics information the OOTS characters have, and I wonder if Rich will ever introduce the players themselves. I always find it amusing when the GM tries to give the players hard information as their characters would understand it.
GM: "Ok, you practice using the magical sword and, um, you feel like you have a 10% greater chance to hit things."
Player: "Hey guys, I think it's a +2 weapon."
The real game event I'd like to see in OOTS is the Identify-magic-item-by-trial-and-error episode:
J to A: "Maybe it gives you magic resistance. I'll try casting a spell at you, don't resist it. <To GM> I'm casting a spell on him."
GM to A: "Are you resisting?"
A: "YES! And I'm using my Dodge Bonus against her as well!"
That was a fun 5 minutes. :)
