Order of the Stick 540 is up

Growing to hate Celia as much as I hated Miko. *grumble*

That takes a lot, too; as is evidenced by the hand drawn picture of Miko on fire that Rich drew inside the cover of No Cure for the Paladin Blues for me.

Clearly you and Roy have very different taste in women. ;)

In this case, however, I think Celia has a point: Belkar is a homicidal creep, and the OotS frequently seem to overlook these charming little outbursts of his.

That's because he is awesome. Full of awesome.

A pretty solid builder strip.

Personally, I enjoy the discussions about Belkar's evilness. Remember Roy's review to be let into LG heaven? Assuming he's allowed to remember that when he's raised, I think it will lead to some interesting discussions between Celia and Roy. Possibly even some relationship difficulties if they can't see eye to eye.

How is killing unsuspecting gnomes evil? Have you seen that video that Blackrat posted in the Angry Gnomes topic? Belkar is doing the world a favor by accepting his 4e duties as a gnome slayer. Besides, cholocate is good so you can't fault him for that. :)

I really don't get this glorification of the little creep. I only find him funny when he's, often by accident, unleashed on people who deserve it. He went way too far killing the gnome.

Some of Celia's recent behaviour has been kind of obnoxious, but I don't have a problem with any of her criticisms of Belkar.

It can be explained pretty easily, but possibly at the cost of some of your faith in humanity.

Also liked "with my luck, the next gnome won't even HAVE any candy!" and "horrid little bastard."

Yeah, and I'm noticing that there's a lot of annoying good-aligned characters. Except Roy. Roy rocks. Let's get him his resurrect already.

I suspect that Celia is going to have a crisis of faith in alignment (or the law) at some point. Perhaps I'm reading too into it, but Rich doesn't usually tie a helpful character to the plot unless something happens to them.

That, and I think Rich is just exploiting an easy joke. :)
