The guy that does those strips is great. By far the funniest (yes i know) comic ive ever read, including newspaper stuff (mostly crap) and all that. This stuff is hilarious

Ehhhhhh... I dunno. I thought the early, self-referential D&D strips were very good. (And the latter self-referential D&D stuff is good, too... like the link above.)

But there was a long stretch where the smell of "jump the shark" was heavy and stale in the air.

And I hate when it gets preachy and sappy.

Yeah, it went the bad side of serial for me, so I stopped reading regularly. Now occasionally it catchs my interest and I go through to see what I missed, but it really lost it's edge for me.

IMO the comics improved to the standard of the first ones when the OotS left the Dungeon.
