I'll be hanging out with Mongoose all week! Be sure to stop by, say "hi", and buy the CyberNet Official RPG Soundtrack for only $10.00 or any two of my original soundtrack CDs for $15!

See ya all soon!

*shameless Bump* since it's Friday and we only have a few days left!

Anyone know if the rooms in the Hyatt have internet ports now? Been a few years for me.

hi all, this is my first post on Enworld, but I'm a long time lurker.

My wife and I are headed to Origins for the first time this year, and are really looking forward to it. We have one question though. The prices in the dealer room, are there usually discounts and the like?

My experience is that it works like this: you have the retailers and discounters, who generally give either a percent off cover price, or a fixed sticker price below MSRP (i.e. Titan Games, Crazy Eddie's, etc.). Selection there is decent but spotty. You also have the distibutors, who have entire lines in stock, but generally do special offers in lieu of discounts (i.e. package deals, prizes for games, giveaways, etc.). Almost all of the distributors give a discount on tax, so that you pay the cover price and don't have to hassle with adding 6% or whatever. Some of the smaller game companies don't do giveaways, but do more in terms of demos.

Hope that helps.

Okay, once again recapping we have:

1. Tensen
2. Tensen's Wife (probable)
3. Tensen's Editor (maybe)
4. Crothian (maybe)
5. Marketingman Tim Riley
6. Ashockney

*Assenpfeffer (really wants to play but is too busy because he's gaming 24/7)

Any more? I'm thinking of doing a arena style free for all, last character standing game.

I'm definitely still in. Did we decide on a date/time/location?

If you need help with the epic character creation, just let me know. I've got a number of epic characters already made (from campaign that ran from 20th - 32nd level). I'm particularly interested in giving an epic cleric the once-around.

I could use some extra epic characters. I'm not going to have as much time as I thought I would to make up a few more so go ahead and bring yours along. I'm still thinking that we will play Thursday night at either 8:30 or 9:00pm, but stop by the Bastion booth (1046) and talk to me on Thursday mid-afternoon.

Has this been taken care of? Is Reaper down with our using them as a rallying point?

Ed,
is down with it as long has we do not chock up the area. We could also us the open press area for the dry erase board instead of Reaper.

We are also trying to workout almost constant coverage of the covention via Silven Crossroads. It going to be a blast. I would like to interview has many Enworlders has I can during the Four days as well has set up some after action reports.
