Origins 2004

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. I'll be arriving on Friday night and attending the Origins Awards, and then I'll be wandering the convention on Saturday and Sunday. I'll try and wear my SWRPGNetwork shirts so you can spot me, or just meet up at the Green Ronin or Reaper booths.

If anyone wants to meet up specifically, e-mail me and I'll give you my cell #.

Dry erase board up on Satuday

Sorry about the delay Enworlder but I had to get my foot worked on and the Dry erase board will be up on Saturday at the Reaper Booth for leaving Messages

Well then we will have to use the board:)

Hope to see everyone tomorrow. Moridin.. I'd love to chat, I'm a huge follower of both SW and SG-1. just ask Crothian.. I'm trying to convert the masses on SG-1, unfortunately too many of my group are anti-guns/military..
..which hurts since I'm a former Marine.

Looking forward to another outstanding Origins.

hey guys, i'm already starting to see on other websites people announcing the winners of the Origins Awards (like Wizkids' site).

can any of you con-goers give us poor chaps back at home a run-down of all the winners? :)

I've run into afew but made some great contacts with other gamers. Fianlly ran into Mearls, always great to see him; Ashockey was running the Fire Giants module and as always that looked like lots of fun.

Edit:One thing I forgot to mention was Kenzer people are really cool and nice. My friend and I were talking to one on Hackmaster, a game neither of us had tried, and the guy gave us each a copy of the players handbook to try out. That was really unexpected and I'm very thankful for that.

Second thing I need to mention is the Buffy LARP. If you like the table top version of that game, the LARP is great. It uses the table top rules its just you are wondering around like a LARP. It was excellent and we had a lot of fun. It will be at Gen Con for those going, but it is opposite the ENnies (or I would be playing in it).

Origins is over and it was a great time. Today I hung with Mike Mearls whose a great guy. He even came over a friends for a cook out after the convention for an inpromtu After Origins Party...without the party. It was mostly us sitting back and talking, and laughing a little too much.

I finally ran into Moridin so it was great to finally meet him. Ah, so many good times I'm sad to see the con over, but really looking forward to getting some sleep.

I was there Friday through Sunday and I had a great time. I got to play in a demo of Flames of War, a newer WWII mini war game. That was fun, and the minis were very well done. And of course, Living Greyhawk.
