Origins 2004

Ha! Actually, I was thinking of seeing if anyone wanted to play some games or anything. I have a few homebrew dungeons I could run.

Oooh...

I'm already committed to games in the evening, but if this is an afternoon thing--and if you don't mind a fellow (albeit far less distinguished) pro in the group--I'd love to be part of this. :)

Hey, glad to see people are interested. Let me figure out my entire schedule - I want to enter a D&D minis sealed tournament and try the speed painting competition, so my schedule isn't completely hammered out. I'm not sure if/when they'll be posted on the Origins site. I'll poke around and see what comes up.

Cool. Here's my schedule:

Wednesday
7:00 PM: Carabande (boardgame)

Thursday
8:00 AM: Everway - City of a Thousand Moons
12:00 PM - 4 PM: The Sword and Flame - Drums Along the Mitzubiszee

Friday
12:00 PM: Space 1889 - Mavericks at the Moving Pictures
6:00 PM - 8 PM: d20 Design Seminar

Saturday
11:00 AM: Speed Painting Competition
12:00 PM: Warlord: Play for Prizes
7:00 PM: Pirate's Cove (boardgame)

I don't have any business meetings (sayonara, freelance life!), I'm not going to the Origins Awards since my design seminar is scheduled opposite the ceremony, so that's pretty much my schedule. This is my Relax-o-con. Early mornings are bad, since I'll be up late drinking every night. Sunday afternoon would work well for me. Maybe Thursday evening?

The only wildcard is the D&D minis events. There's only one listed so far, the national championships, and since I really doubt I'd be able to fit the finals into my GenCon schedule, I'm going to try and sign up for a sealed box event on site. If they add them to the online events at the Origins site, I'll update my schedule here.

I think Thursday evening would be great. Sunday people are usually pretty drained, plus I like to hit the dealers room for sunday deals :D

I'm Finally returning to Origins this year, haven't been since 2001. My group and I will be doing the standard assortment of Larping and tabletopping. Hopefully I can catch up with some of you there as well.

We need a meeting place or something. Any publisher want to donate the use of their booth as a place EN Worlders can find each other? EN Publishing did it last year, they even suckered...or got me to help run the boothe for them. :D
