Darnnit! Now I'm hungry! And all I have in the fridge is zooplankton! ;)
Never thought I'd be called on my lack of jellyfish knowledge. I'm good with a song, but apparently not with my marine biology.

Demiurge out.

The original Fiend Folio was supposed to be a compilation of the monsters from the original White Dwarf. However the editor (our own Col. Pladoh) dropped most submissions as being just too silly for words (frex, the dahdi, a male mummy that gives you hit points whenever it hits you). So over half are of his creation.

As I recall the White Dwarf flumph was a nasty bit of business. A chaot with homicidal tendencies. The appelation of lawful (I think) was a typo. Probably applied when Gary was bone tired, had a beer or two in him, and had finally gotten the kids to bed. (Little kids have a talent for warping your perceptions.)

There were people convinced the flumph had to be a Gygax creation, because the Brits were too sensible a people to ever come up with such a thing. The rust monster was used to support this contention. :D
