The Honorary award going to Sidney Lumet and during the film clips at his intro they were showing the last one "in progress" called Find me Guilty. Starring none other than our own famous gamer Vin Diesel. With hair!. :) Just thought it was interesting.

Absolutely interesting. And fascinatingly, here's what Lumet says about him:

“One of the finest actors I have ever worked with,” he said. “In acting, you get to the job any way you can. He was typed as a muscleman, and he had success at that, but take my word for it, you will be amazed at the work he does.”

Wow! This is the dude who directed some of the finest films in Hollywood, with some of the best actors imaginable: Henry Fonda, Robert Redford, Al Pacino, Ingrid Bergman, Faye Dunaway, Robert Duvall, Paul Newman, to name just a few of very, very many.

Seems hard to believe, still.

Not really hard to believe, in Saving Private Ryan though his part was small he did an awesome job. In A Man Apart he was really very good. Hey, I'm a Vin Diesel fan what can I say? You watch, he's going to be big deal.

I saw him interviewed recently and wondered why he was pushing "Find me Guilty" instead of "The Pacifier". I'm sure they were making sure to piggy back on the good press from the award and tie Vin more closely to a winner. I wouldn't be surprised if it is to offset the likely hit his rep will take from doing a light comedy with children. ;)

I've always thought it was the last step in an actor's career was to do Disney movies.
