Why would you need to use this book? Your players have taken an unexpected detour and you need a quick encounter for them (create a small inn). The party decides to seek clerical services from a different temple within the town because they suspect the primary church to have a spy (create a medium good church). After defeating a small band of orcs, the PCs are looking for a way to replenish their supplies without going all the way back to town (create a tiny merchant tent). This unique generation system will allow a DM to have a fully detailed map of the church, inn, or merchant, stock it with fully equipped NPCs of any race or alignment, have domain and spell information for all NPCs, and merchandise or stores all in under 5 minutes in handy reference sheets.

Does the very land hold a life force that can be sucked dry, just as a vampire drains blood from his victims? There is an ancient art that is resurfacing. A terrible lore that allows spell casters, both Arcane and Divine to rape the land of its very life to fuel their magic. Blight Magic, it is called and it is a quick and terrible road to power. Many have justified the use of such magic, pointing out that farmers take from the land to feed the people, homes have need of the land to be built, and trees are cut down to provide warmth in the winter! Is this so very different? The answer can only be seen in the practitioners, who suffer over time from a corruption that only and evil power can bring.

Blight Magic is a d20 sourcebook that details the rituals, spells, abilities, and terrible corrupting influences that can be gained by tapping into, and draining the very life from the land. This 56 page book has rules for new rituals, spells, prestige classes, feats, and much more that all focus on this awful power.

Let your players dive into this quick road to arcane might and see if they have the strength to resist the terrible temptation and awesome power of Blight Magic.

Included in LE1 are classic ideas such as the Swashbuckler and the Sniper, as well as several military classes. Also featured are bizzarities such as the Corpulent (a priest of greed or gluttony who grows... and grows... and grows...) and the PsychoPyretic (someone who transforms his rage into psionic heat).

Not too shabby here. Most of these got out on time.

The only ones I haven't seen in June thus far...

Hammer & Helm

Common Ground (Haven't been to the hobby store last week so I may have missed it.)

Ack, it just struck me that we had three out of the five and all three of ours are out the door. No wonder my head is spinning. Oh..well, maybe that is normal for me....

Hammer & Helm has always been a July release and it's on time and on schedule. Osseum tries to have its clients' releases in the warehouse the month before their release date, so they can ship them and have them in stores right at the beginning of the month. So when they say "shipping in June" for Hammer & Helm, it's true; it'll ship from the printer this week. However, it won't be in stores until July.

Sorry for the confusion folks!

We try to make sure that we let everyone know when new titles are coming out and should be in store, but the realities of distribution times mean that a July ship should be in store in August.

We will make these changes evident and clear so that everyone who is looking for these great titles can find them in the proper time at the proper place, without thinking the title is late, or didn't come out or what have you.

Again, sorry for any confusion this might have caused!
