Here's another good one, but you'll have to find it yourself. "I Wanna Be a Cowboy," with Vash the Stampede from Trigun. Great AMV, and look for the scenes with the cat.

Back in my days as a PAC (Purdue Anime Club) officer we had a music video for "It's the end of the world as we know it" we used to show on special occasions and such. IIRC, it was pretty good because the music was set to lots of big explosions from Macross: The Movie, and Gundum 0088... I think...

Anyway, if there are any former or current PAC people here, could you look in the club library for that one and get it encoded?

My favorite AMV ever would be "Tainted Donuts," featuring the Cowboy Bebop crew attempting to take Vash down for the bounty money. Great editing.

Neither is my other favourite mentioned, namely Sf2A's "Breaking Free" set to Queen's "Bohemian Rhaphsody"

Check these out, especially the MKR because the imagery used for the song is qell-matched to the lyrics.

OV's mindless self indulgence is perhaps one of the greatest works of art ever created on the face of this earth. I'm serious. It's a piece of absolute genius. It's beauty in anime music video format.

I weep at the poor taste expressed here.
