(OT) Calculus Help for Morons

Run! Run away!

Be afraid, people. Calculus really IS that bad. If it hadn't been for my husband, my brain would have imploded long ago in college math and I never would have graduated.

I'm scarred. To this day math notation still hurts to look at. Thanks for the migraine guys.

:p

Hey! Math ain't that bad. I majored in Electrical Engineering and minored in Math (as well as History and Philosophy). I then proceeded to get my Master of Science Engineering Management and Master of Business Administration. All are heavily math oriented. Remember this mantra

Math is my friend and Physics is fmN

At one time, years ago in high school, I could have done those problems. However, I deviated from the path of math long ago, and am now studying linguistics. I have forsaken the study mathmatics in pursuit of knowledge in language.

hah, been so long since I did anything like that ... I gave up Math for History, my life has been easier ever since.

I wish she would have just given it to us while it was still fresh in our mind.

Yes, well, what you wish and what your teacher wishes are probably two different things.

You wish to get good scores on your exams. She wishes you to know the material. Giving an extra exam while the material is "still fresh" does nothing to ensure that you've actually retained anything.

NERD BOY:D

Me I'll stick to if John has 3 Apples and 5 banana amd Betty has 2 Apples and 2 Bananas how many Apples and Banana all together?

(3Apples + 5 Bananas) + (2Apples+2Bananas) = Oh the joys of teaching little kids
