25c cost me 25$

Funny thing is, i simply forgot to put in a quarter.

I feel your pain. Parking in this city is a nightmare. Bloomberg trying to refill the coffers by any means necessary and putting the NYPD on ticket quotas doesn't help either. (Was that political? if so, please substitute GO YANKEES! instead.)

My parents helps my sister move into her NYC apartment this weekend and ended up with a $55 for a meter that hadn't even expired yet!

When the first parked, they put in the maximum amount, and then came back out twenty minutes before the meter expired and filled it again - evidently a no-no in NYC. Signs explaining this policy are evidently a no-no as well.

Anyway, whats all this about getting caught for a felony... Wouldnt it be better to comit a felony and NOT get caught?
