I didn't put Death in the choices because I assume that he is EVERYONE'S #1 choice. So, in the interests of variety, I guess what I'm really asking for is people's favorite besides DEATH.

Eck… can’t choose. Some characters are just like comparing apples with watermelons. Seriously he’s written so many different styles of characters, it’s very difficult for me to compare a lot of them to choose only one best one. Kind of like asking which is better, The Green Mile or A Knight’s Tale. I loved both movies but for utterly different reasons.

You also forgot to include Gaspode the Wonder Dog who is my second favourite character (after Susan and of course her Grandfather) Also do the new characters count? like 'The Sweeper' (was he the same Sweeper in Small Gods?)

Wee mad arthur is my favourite so is Vimes, detrius, Rincewind, susan, Windle poons(undead) was very cool, the rest of the "close" watch (not the random trolls etc) Downspout angua carrot little bottom etc, Errod, Ponder, the facility, Igor, time, times son, lu-tze, brutha, leonard of quirm, bloody stupid johnson, dibbler(and the assorted others), the apocalypses(Death, kaos, etc wars wife, terror etc). LOADS that I've forgotten, but I voted vimes
