I've never been but whenever I think "Caribbean, I think "pirates". :) So watch out ;)

Seriously though, remember it's a vacation and don't let ANYTHING ruin your good time. I've seen alot of people on vacations have their time spoiled by being stressed out over little details. Don't let that happen.

Have fun! I wish I was going ;)

Its been 7 or 8 years since I was on a cruise to St.Thomas, but here's what I can remember & recommend.

Go snorkling. Its unbelievably beautiful under the water there.
If you drink, stock up on alcohol there. Its REALLY cheap, so stock up on the stuff you drink or need to fill out your bar (there is an import limit, so make sure you know what it is before you buy more than you are allowed to bring home with you).
Cuban cigars. I don't smoke them, but friends who do were really excited about them. But you can't bring them back into the US. ;)
On the cruise, try all the food. You'll never have so much food placed before you again in your life. If you want one of everything on the menu for dinner, they'll bring it to you. Seriously. I did that one night, just to see if it was true.
Use the exercise rooms and classes on the cruise. See the point about food above. :)
If you are a Deadhead, go to the Hard Rock Cafe on St. Thomas. They have lots of original album artwork and stuff there. If you're not a Deadhead, well, its just another Hard Rock Cafe.
Wear sunscreen, and then add more just incase. I got the worst sunburn I've ever had there, and it was a cloudy day. :(
If I remember more, I'll post again.

I'll keep checking the thread until Saturday night so if anyone else has advice please give it.

Djeta,
Thank you for the kind wishes, I know where your coming from as we went to the Bahamas last year and did not do all-inclusive. I stressed out too much over what we spent.

Cthulhu's Librarian,
Thanks for all your comments, post more if you do remember.

Bear,
I have been told not to miss going out to St. John. Your now the 4th or 5th person to say so. I think we'll be heading over there!

If any of your ports of call include an excursion where you get to feed the rays, DO IT! It is a very cool experience. My wife and I did it at Grand Cayman on a cruise we took a few years ago, and we still talk about how much fun it was.

And yes, they will bring you whatever you want that's on the menu at dinner. One night on our cruise, we had a choice between lobster and steak. I'm not a lobster fan, so I just ordered the steak. My wife couldn't make up her find, so they brought her both. On the next cruise we took, one night we had choices between steak and shrimp. My wife and I both got a little surf 'n turf action going. And there were several nights when I would order two desserts because I couldn't chose, they all sounded so good.
