I don't see any people on this board that thought the "broom" should have been pulled from the shelves... I do see people having a good chuckle. Nothing wrong with humor :). Let's not add a political spin on this when it isn't necessary.

Trying to avoid anything that may offend Eric Gandma.

The question that all of as parents have to ask ourselves is where is that imaginary line drawn? This type of dilema enters into every decision we are forced to make as parents from when we allow a child to play D&D to the current topic.

Ultimately this is a decision best reserved for the parents - personally, I feel that while 12 years old may not be to young for the discussion (how I am NOT looking forward to that talk - my kids are 4 and 2 respectively) on sex, it is to young to be experimenting - certainly with supposedly benign toys.

Granted certain adolescents are ready for something like this, but I would prefer my children to keep thier innocence as long as possible.

So while you point TrizzlWizzl is certainly valid, I can absoletly see - and respect the need to procted children from something like this.

It's my opinion that parents too often ignore their children's sexuality. There will come a point when a child will seek answers to his/her questions and will begin to experiment, if they sense you aren't approachable on the subject, they will seek their answers somewhere else. I just get the impression that parents believe if they ignore the issue, that their children will ignore the issue; which I think is wholly inaccurate. Children are always learning, like it or not... I hope that I will be available and approachable on this issue for my children when it comes time. (All theory on my part, I don't have any kids yet :) ).

As interesting as the topic is, I don't think this is the place for it. Thanks for mostly keeping it out of the gutter though -- very much appreciated. :)
